HOW TO GET TO LOBOS ISLAND

First, Fuerteventura.

By plane rather than by boat. To get to Fuerteventura, you can take a direct flight from several cities on the Iberian Peninsula. Its airport is located six kilometers from the capital, Puerto del Rosario, and it takes about thirty minutes to reach the north from there.

Second, Corralejo. The town of Corralejo and the Natural Park of the Dunes are less than half an hour’s drive from Puerto Rosario.

Finally, Lobos Island. You can reach Lobos Islet by ferry or water taxi from the port of Corralejo. Our advice is to take one of the water taxis that depart on wave days from the port of Corralejo, as it will drop you right at the peak.

THE BEST TIME FOR SURFING IN FUERTEVENTURA

Although it can be said that Fuerteventura experiences eternal spring, with temperatures ranging between 23º and 25º, it should be noted that wind conditions can favor or hinder surfing. Therefore, the best time to surf starts in September and lasts until late March. However, the Single Quiver team has been to Fuerteventura in April, July, August, November, December… and the trip and Lobos wave have always encouraged us to repeat.
